Welcome to the website for the Trickle Out Africa Project. Trickle Out is a research project examining social enterprises and environmental enterprises in Eastern and Southern Africa and their potential role in sustainable development and poverty alleviation. Trickle Out began in February 2011 as part of Dr. Diane Holt's ESRC First Grant project. Trickle Out has evolved over time and is now an ongoing project led by researchers from Leeds University Business School the University of Leeds, and Sheffield University Management School the University of Sheffield, the project also leverages the skills and knowledge of a global network of academic and practioner supporters.
