Active Youth Organization (AYO) is a Malawian non-profit making, non-partisan NGO. It was established on 12th October, 1996 and registered under the laws of Malawi on 30th May, 1997.

Aims & Objectives
""To address issues of the youth / children in relation to human rights / Children's Rights youth reproductive health environment, character building, and cultural and education so that they should be made into good standing figure in the society"".
 
The following are the main objectives of the organization:
- To help the youth/ children know their rights and responsibilities in matters of democracy
- To carry out civic education on adults/parents and children/youth relationship
- To promote the importance of education among the youth / children
- To provided civic education on drug and alcohol abuse
- To promote environmental education and participation of youth/children in environmental
