We are a South African business based in Durban that was born out of a personal desire for beauty products that are natural, kind to the environment, chemical-free, preservative-free and animal friendly but at the same time effective, based largely on the use of aromatherapy and essential oils.
 
Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils extracted from aromatic plants to promote health and well-being. It is an ancient art; having been used for thousands of years in healing and for it's uplifting effect on the mind. The early Egyptians used essential oils to improve mood as well as for their antibacterial properties. Hippocrates, the Greek physician known as the father of western medicine, prescribed aromatic baths and massages as an important part of his program for achieving good health.
 
The skin is the body's largest organ and it absorbs lotions, creams and gels with all the ingredients these contain. It is important to be aware of what we are putting into our bodies from a food and drink perspective. However it's also very important to consider what our bodies absorb through other means. Very few of us pay any attention to the ingredients of beauty and cosmetic products where we would read a food label with great attention. Most cosmetics and body products are made with harsh chemicals, synthetic ingredients and preservatives, some of which are very dangerous and harmful to the human body when used over a long period of time.
