As an independent educational designer/facilitator working through collaborative partnerships Sandy draws on her wide-ranging educational background and merges this with her unique environmental and Africa expertise to produce holistic programmes.
 
Rural Development, Public Participation and Environmental Education are the core areas in which she works designing and managing programmes that deliver tangible outputs such as localised economic development, employability, responsible citizenship and entrepreneurial success. Interventions foster fresh self-awareness and develop self-esteem forming an essential base for all other learning. Her particular skill is to merge Western understanding and African culture and spirituality, within an ecological context.
 
The approach includes synthesising specialised knowledge of the earth's natural systems with modern challenges. The outcome promotes the ability to respond to current circumstances with renewed energy and enthusiasm for a sustainable lifestyle.
