Robin Pope Safaris has been operating in the South Luangwa for over twenty years - with private walking safaris, exclusive game lodges and some of the finest luxury houses in Africa.
With our new luxury lodge, Pumulani on Lake Malawi, we now offer an unbeatable "bush and beach" holiday.
In the Luangwa Valley our three intimate camps offer a true wilderness experience with stylish accommodation, attentive service, fine dining and some of the best private guides in Africa. None of our camps sleep more than twelve and our walking safaris are for small groups of 4 to 6. Our team of superb guides specialise in walking safaris, photographic safaris, night drives and private safaris for families.
The latest addition is the Liuwa Plain safari in Western Zambia where Robin guides in this rarely visited national park.
We also win regular praise in the press. One of our camps, Tena Tena, was described by The Times of London as ""altogether beyond superlatives... one of the best safari camps in the whole of Africa"".
""Kawaza Village is the winner of the prestigious Silver Otter Award 2000""
As pioneers of responsible tourism in Zambia for more than twenty years we have supported & established many community projects, including four schools. Kawaza School Fund, with the generous support of our guests, has built many classrooms and teachers houses to establish a solid foundation for improvement of education. We also sponsor almost half the teachers at the schools and support many children through into secondary and tertiary education. All this has been working towards ensuring the Nsefu Chiefdom community has access to a reasonable level of education. Responsible tourism awards winner 2011
