CSFC envisages a poverty free Zimbabwe and ultimate realization of full employment with an average household having a sound ecomonic portoflio to deal with basic life challenges including chronic diseases like HIV/AIDS. This would be achieved thorugh promoting the growth of Micro, Small and Medium scale enterprises as the fundamental creators of wealth for the well being of individuals and the nation. This would be aimed at acheiving the self-sustencance of both the entrepreneurs and the scheme and contributing to employment creation and alleviation of poverty in Zimbabwe
The Collective Self finance Scheme (CSFS) was formed and registered as a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) in 1988 by a group of 8 co-operatives with the principal objective of providing credit guarantees and entrepreneurship training to members. Over the years, membership to the NGO has been opened u+A184p to non-co-operative businesses. Its finance products and services have bee revolutionalised to suit new challenges and members ambitions and now focuses on nurturing of micro, small and medium scale businesses through the provision of Capital lease facilities; working capital loans; and business advisory services.
