GardenAfrica is a UK-based not-for-profit organisation that enables people to support themselves, their families and their communities by facilitating horticultural training designed to:
-Grow nutritious food
-Conserve essential species
- Manage natural resources
- Generate income .....all without dependence on expensive pesticides, fertilisers or hybrid seed. With increased diversity and higher yields our trainees are able to build a healthy, debt-free future.
GardenAfrica's partnerships are currently focused on South Africa, Swaziland, Namibia and Zimbabwe. With your support, we can help more of the most vulnerable communities to produce their own food and give them the best chance for a sustainable and healthy future.
Zimbabwe Promoting skills training in plant-based livelihoods in Zimbabwe. GardenAfrica is committed to build the capacity of local organisations which struggle to provide vital services in health, education and agricultural extension, in the absence of any coherent formal state provision. In consultation with these organisations, GardenAfrica has identified the need to promote improved smallholder productivity and trade, education and nutritional health.
