Dr Diane Holt and Dr David Littlewood win BAM prize for their paper "Reaching the underbanked and unbanked in subsistence markets at the nexus of the formal and informal economies"

Two members of the Trickle Out team have won the prize for Best Full Paper in Sustainable and Responsible Business at the British Academy of Management Conference (2014), hosted by the University of Ulster and held in Belfast 09-11 September 2014. Their paper explored the challenges faced by low income groups in accessing financial services, as well as opportunities for social enterprises and wider responsible businesses to work in these spaces and address these needs. The paper draws particualrly upon research data from Sub-Saharan Africa.
